    The UNDP Black Sea Trade and Investment Promotion Programme (BSTIP) discontinues program operations and closes its office on 28 February 2014. Active since 2008, BSTIP has welcomed more than 4000 participants to its programs, organized business events in twelve countries, facilitated more than thirty trade and investment transactions, developed studies related to trade, tourism and climate change, and helped connect the Black Sea region commercially. The program thanks the Governments of Greece, Turkey, Austria and the Black Sea Economic Cooperation for their generous contributions over the years as well as its program partners – too numerous to mention.
